Now that Duch (Khaing Kek Iev) is on trial in Cambodia, remember the US secret bombing that greatly helped the Khmer Rouge take power. Our bombing obliterated whole villages where 90 per cent of those killed were civilians and not KR. The KR used our bombing as a recruitment tool to gain support w. the Cambodian people. Our CIA was heavily involved in the de-stabilization of Sihanouk's govt. which brought about the Cambodian Civil War of 1971-75. Duch is guilty of war crimes and so is OUR CIA during this sad chapter in US history.
Time after time the CIA does this routine time and time again. This isn't the only example, we're currently fighting militants the CIA TRAINED and FUNDED!! They claim they strive to bring democracy but they inabled elections in Viet-nam because Ho-Chi-Min would've been elected! They're obviously only intending to forfill their fascist greed and another proof of this is the installation of the Shah in Iran. Thank you for commenting yet a further example, altho it isn't just that period.
